Court Slams Five- Count Charge On Five Youths Who Assault Lady In Viral Video

The natural principle of cause has finally visited the five Youths who allegedly rough handle and assaulted a lady in a viral video making the rounds on social media.

A Magistrate Court Sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State,has ordered the remand of the alleged Youth at the Federal Correctional facility in Mandala, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The five Youths were allegedly accused of assault and tortured of a young woman according to the viral video.

Name of the accused are:

. Yakubu Mustapha

.Afeez Ayomide

. Olamide Babatunde

.Agboola Abdulsamad

.Jimoh Abdulfatai

The accused persons were slammed with five- count charge.The charges are:

Criminal conspiracy
Criminal intimidation
Indecent assault, contrary to Sections 97,114,210 and 391 of Penal Code Law and punishable under the same sections of the Law.

Other charge are: inflicting emotional, verbal and psychological abuse on her , contrary to Sections 3 and 13 of the violence against person (Prohibition)Law 2020 of Kwara State

However,the accused pleaded not quity to the charges before the Court.
